Yeah definitely… ‘nuff tools here! Mr Paul ‘Seiji’ Dolby, part of the super broken beat collective Bugz In The Attic, is one of the most prolific and talented dj/producers to come out of the west London music scene.
This LP contains a various and diverse collection of dance floor orientated instrumental tracks. The production is as tight as ever and his creative approach in blending hip-hop, disco, drum and bass, house, salsa, techno and grime is, frankly, second to none. Smoked delays, super fat bass lines, and square synths all in one pot! Dj Tools will guarantee to give ‘nuff trouble to the best sound systems out there! Just to mention a few examples check tracks like ‘Raspberries’, ‘Dribbler’ and ‘Grimewave’ - all badbwoy tunez. Can’t wait to hear his contributions to the new Roisin Murphy album. Tipped.
