BODY & SOUL @ Canvas, (Saturday 14th July, 9pm-6am)

Big things for the soulful house crowd in London on Saturday 14th July, as the Need 2 Soul set-up bring you three legends of the New York club scene, performing together here for the first time.

Danny Krivit, Francois K and Joaquin ‘Joe’ Clausell, three stalwarts of the much-celebrated event Body & Soul, will be working their magic at Canvas in King’s Cross.
They’re not messing about with this one, either. While upping the production stakes, a state-of-the-art specially-customised build system will be shipped in across all three of the club’s spaces. The organisers will also be recreating the New York club’s Terrace feature. And the special cherry on the cake sees them flying in Body & Soul’s own original lighting jock, Ariel, to do his thing. New York DJs are known for their long sets and, if anything, three hours apiece is fairly reserved, but it ensures the music keeps pumping all the way from 9pm to 6am. And to coincide with the event, the ‘Body & Soul NYC Volume 5’ compilation is now on the streets giving you more of the flavour.
